The Family's Mission

For generations, members of the Sammouri family have established noteworthy entrepreneurial track records in a wide range of industries. From coffee and catering to architectural glass and construction, members of the family have gained a reputation for top-in-class business undertakings in the Middle East. With a global outlook, members of the family seek to extend this record of excellence.

The Family's Values

The Sammouri family's heritage serves as a solid guide for the future. Members espouse traditional Middle Eastern values such as those of Integrity, Industry, and Charity.

The Family's Roots

Through oral tradition, the Sammouri family name is said to have derived from the ancient city of Samarra, which was founded in 836 AD as an administrative capital of the Abbasid Dynasty and is today designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Contemporarily, the family is predominantly of Lebanese descent and proudly based in Beirut, the Paris of the Middle East. Nevertheless, significant branches of the family are interspersed throughout the world.

Notable branches of the family have relocated to Saudi Arabia following the Lebanese Civil War (1975-1990) with a tangible yearning for their motherland.
